I ordered my two Bee Nucs (Nucleus Colonies) locally, from Plan Bee Beeking in Thorton Colorado. This was my first time ordering Nucs, and I ended up picking them up earlier than expected. Regardless, the whole journey was an adventure I’m not soon going to forget.

The excitement of having a few thousand buzzing bees in the backseat of your car, definitely makes you smile. They sound like rain, and I could already feel their personalities. Honestly, getting your own bees is a beautiful experience, it’s exciting, and you get to watch them grow and change. There is something magical about beekeeping, and I recommend it to everyone who loves a bit of magic.

Tip:

• Make sure you order your bees as soon as they are available and you can, in my experience bees sell out fast and its usually first come first serve.
